Cookie Policy

Short version: pages of urbanwindhaven.com set no cookies of their own, run no analytics or advertising tools, and store nothing in your browser's local storage. That is why there is no cookie banner. Below is the full list of what does load from other companies, so that you can decide for yourself.
What our own pages do
Our pages are static files. A small script opens the mobile menu and shows the "back to top" button; it keeps no information between visits. We use no Google Analytics, no tag managers, no social-media pixels and no advertising scripts. If that ever changes we will update this policy first and add a proper consent choice.
Third-party content on our pages
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com): loads the Playfair Display and DM Sans typefaces on every page. Google receives your IP address and browser details when the font files are requested.
- Google Maps (google.com/maps): an embedded map of our address on the Home and Contact pages. Loading it contacts Google, which may set its own cookies. Whether it does is up to Google and its own policy.
- formsubmit.co: contacted only when you press "Send enquiry". The service forwards your message to our mailbox and may use cookies or similar technology on its own pages and for its own purposes.
We do not control these companies and cannot see their cookies. Their privacy policies apply to what they do.
How to control third-party loading
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website still works without them. Content blockers can stop Google Fonts and the embedded map, in which case the pages fall back to system typefaces and the map area stays empty (the address is printed next to it, and there is a link to open it in Google Maps). If you prefer not to use the form relay, call or email us instead.

What we do not do
We do not track you across websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell data. We have no loyalty or login system, so no session cookies exist.
Server logs
Like almost every website, ours is delivered by a web host, and that host's server may record the address of each request, the time, the page asked for and the browser's identification string. These log lines are an operational record kept by the host; they are not cookies, and we do not use them to follow individual visitors around the site or to advertise to anyone.
The embedded map in more detail
The map on the Home and Contact pages is an iframe from Google Maps. It is loaded lazily, which means your browser contacts Google only when the map area is about to scroll into view. Everything inside that frame, including any cookie, belongs to Google. If you never scroll to it, it is never requested. The address is also printed as plain text beside the map, so you lose nothing by blocking it.
Do Not Track and similar signals
Because we run no tracking of our own, there is nothing on our side that a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal could switch off. Your browser may still apply the signal to the third-party content listed above.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, a booking system or any other tool that uses cookies or local storage, we will change this page first, say what the tool does and for how long, and show a consent choice before the tool runs. The date at the top is the date of the current wording.
